Why PD Matters More Than Ever.
Happy New Year’ Teachers! Please allow me to re-introduce The Teacher’s Academy. Since 2014, our small but mighty group of teachers has been providing self-paced and classroom-ready professional development to teachers nationwide. As we celebrate The Teacher’s Academy Anniversary, we are reminded how meaningful it has been to grow alongside educators across the country. We share experiences, content, lessons and occasionally, memes to get us through and keep us motivated through the year. We are a community of teachers, helping teachers through affordable and relevant professional development.
A Community Built by Teachers
Teaching has never been a one-size-fits-all profession and the needs and trends are changing constantly. Every classroom is different. Every group of students brings new challenges. And every teacher is constantly adapting — often with limited time, limited resources, and limited support.
That’s exactly why The Teachers Academy exists. If you are new to us, welcome! You have stumbled upon a diamond in the rough. This organization is composed of teachers- not businessmen or AI robots, but real teachers who spend our days in the classroom and our evenings and weekends writing relevant content inspired by our changing needs in education.
It’s January and we wanted to take the opportunity to do a quick reset, recap and revamp of our outreach. If you have been with us for a while, thank you for your unwavering support, positive reviews and willingness to share our little company with your friends. Who We (still!) Are
The Teachers Academy was created by teachers, for teachers with one clear goal: to make professional development meaningful, affordable, accredited, and practical.
We believe teachers deserve PD that fits into real schedules, respects their expertise, supports immediate classroom application, and counts toward required continuing education hours.
Our self-paced online courses allow teachers to learn when it works for them — evenings, weekends, summers, or whenever life allows.
Most importantly, we are accredited by state and international organizations. For example, we are an approved provider for Act 48 hours in the state of Pennsylvania (PA), accredited by the Texas Education Association (TEA) and approved to provide CTLE hours in the state of New York. We are also approved by the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training to give credit hours towards your state’s professional development requirements.

Our mission is simple: to learn from each other, build a community of support and help teachers grow without burnout.
