AI Tools for Teachers

Prerequisites

  • Recommended, but not required, is our course, AI in Education
  • Basic-level understanding of navigating the Internet.
  • Ability to take a screenshot and paste into a Document.
  • Basic-level file management (naming, placing, saving files)

Materials

  • Access to the Internet
  • Screenshot/ Snipping tool
  • Word Processor such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs

Professional Learning Objectives

  1. Use course text summaries, personal experience and the provided template to reflect on what you know and would like to know about using AI in your profession with 100% completion.
  2. Use course text and link tables to explore, apply and evaluate four different administrative assistant AI tools.
  3. Use course text and link tables to explore, apply and evaluate four different research-based AI tools.
  4. Use course text and link tables to explore, apply and evaluate four different creative-based AI tools.
  5. Use course materials, AI tools tables and a current lesson plan to evaluate and update an existing lesson plan to add rigor using at least 3 AI tools previously explored.
  6. Use course materials and experiences to complete a self-assessment on what they learned from this course.
