(This course was formally called Distance Teaching. Projects and resources will be the same as those in our Distance Teaching course.)
When my school finally reopened after the pandemic, I handed out a set of paper maps to my high school students. There was an audible gasp! They were so excited to hold a pencil and eagerly proceeded to outline, shade and label once again! (I couldn’t believe my eyes, but sure enough, many students were just so thrilled to get back to the basics. But the basics have changed. Our teaching and learning styles adapted. There are elements of online planning and teaching that I carried over to my post- pandemic classroom. And interestingly enough, there are students who learned that they flourish online and would prefer to continue that course of education.
This course was originally designed to be the one-stop resource for online learning inspired by the ingenuity of teachers during the pandemic. It has been updated to incorporate online teaching and learning resources for any learning experience, including online, flipped or traditional classrooms.
